We are looking for a Quant Developer to work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to build, optimise, and maintain high-performance trading and research systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mathematical and programming background who enjoys solving complex problems in fast-paced environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise quantitative models, trading strategies, and research tools.
  • Implement high-performance, low-latency systems for data processing and strategy execution.
  • Work with large datasets to analyse market behaviour and generate insights.
  • Collaborate with quant researchers and traders to translate ideas into production-ready code.
  • Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a quant developer/software engineer in finance, trading, or related domains.
  • Strong programming skills in Python / C++ / Java (Python preferred).
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-orientated programming.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, probability, statistics, or linear algebra.
  • Experience working with large datasets and numerical computations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree from IIT, IIIT, BITS, ISI, NSUT, or IISc.
  • Minimum 8.5 CGPA throughout academics.


Good to Have:

  • Exposure to financial markets, trading systems, or quantitative research.
  • Experience with performance optimisation and low-latency systems.
  • Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar libraries.
