Group/Division

SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Job Description/PreferredQualifications

• Partner with customer process engineers to optimize process performance, productivity, and manufacturing outcomes.
• Investigate and resolve process-related challenges through root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving.
• Support installation, qualification, process ramp-up, and production optimization activities.
• Collaborate with Global Applications, Product Engineering, R&D, Service, and Sales teams to address customer requirements and technical issues.
• Conduct process characterization, performance evaluations, and technology demonstrations at customer sites.
• Translate customer needs into actionable technical recommendations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and operational updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• BS +5Y~
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with vacuum plasma equipment, including CVD, PVD, or Etch systems.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and process control concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Korea to support customer sites.
