DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create customs classifications and maintain electronic handbook (bonded handbook) registrations for new raw materials and finished goods.
- Determine whether imported goods are classified as hazardous chemicals and review related import documentation.
- Handle applications and documentation related to Certificates of Origin, CIQ (Commodity Inspection) declarations, and CCC exemption certificates.
- Review and verify import and export declaration elements to ensure customs compliance.
- Manage electronic handbook reconciliation and verification (handbook write-off).
- Handle transfer factory import operations (Processing Trade Transfer Procedures).
- Maintain records and registrations for outsourced materials.
- Handle domestic sales taxation procedures for bonded goods.
- Complete other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
SCOPE OF WORK
Responsible for customs classification, daily import/export operations, and processing trade activities.
EDUCATION
Required
- Associate degree (College diploma) or above.
Preferred
- Major in International Trade.
- Experience in Global Trade Services (GTS) is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customs declaration operations.
Preferred
- Experience with customs tariff classification (HS Code classification).
- Familiarity with customs import/export procedures and processing trade operations.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required
- Solid knowledge of customs regulations, bonded handbook reconciliation, and hazardous chemicals management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good learning ability and communication skills.
- Strong execution and follow-through capability.
Preferred
- Familiarity with SAP operation and related processes.
