Your Job:

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead fiber optics manufacturing operations. In this role, you will guide a newly established shift and develop a team focused on achieving production goals, improving operational performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position offers the opportunity to learn new processes, work alongside an experienced team, and contribute ideas that create lasting value.

Our Team:

You will join the Fiber Optics Operations team within our manufacturing facility. You will lead approximately 40 employees and collaborate with an experienced team while helping establish and develop a new shift.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and coordinate operators across all phases of fiber optics manufacturing operations.
  • Drive achievement of the production plan while monitoring productivity, production schedules, aging orders, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Support the production floor by identifying and resolving process and operational challenges.
  • Review and analyze production performance indicators, including OEE and downtime, to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
  • Develop team capabilities through onboarding, training, recertification, coaching, and daily leadership.
  • Prepare and communicate reports on operational performance and progress using Excel and manufacturing management systems.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through physical inventory controls and SAP.
  • Promote compliance with internal workplace regulations, applicable labor requirements, the Code of Conduct and Ethics, and emergency response procedures.
  • Build a collaborative environment by communicating respectfully, working as part of the team, and asking for support when needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • At least three years of experience supervising production operations in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating production activities.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and inventory control activities.
  • Ability to read and respond to basic business communications in English.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Experience with production control activities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience analyzing production reports, operational performance, staffing, and equipment capacity.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Kronos, or similar manufacturing and workforce management systems.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and willingness to explore new solutions.
  • Strong team-development skills and a collaborative leadership style.
  • Ability to understand operational data and evaluate how changes in staffing or equipment may affect production performance.
  • Self-directed learning mindset and willingness to understand workplace policies and applicable regulations.
