Salesforce OMS Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce OMS Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce Order Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Apex, Lightning, APIs, and enterprise integrations. The candidate will be responsible for leading technical teams, defining architecture standards, collaborating with business stakeholders, and delivering scalable, high-performing order management solutions across multi-channel commerce environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce OMS solutions.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define OMS architecture, integration patterns, technical standards, and best practices.
• Lead end-to-end OMS implementations from solution design through production deployment.
• Manage and mentor OMS developers while ensuring code quality and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
• Collaborate with Business, Product, Architecture, QA, and Integration teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design and implement order management capabilities including: Order Capture and Orchestration, Order Lifecycle Management, Order Fulfilment, Order Routing, Shipment and Delivery Tracking, Inventory Availability Management, Order Cancellation, Returns, Refunds and Exchanges, Split Orders and Multi-Fulfillment Processing.
• Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and governance standards.
• Support release management, deployment planning, and production issue resolution.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce Order Management (OMS) experience.
• Must have led end-to-end Salesforce OMS implementations from design, development, integration, testing, and production go-live.
• Prior experience leading and mentoring Salesforce OMS development teams is mandatory.

Salesforce OMS:

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Order Management (OMS).
• Deep understanding of OMS architecture, data model, and order lifecycle processes.
• Experience implementing OMS solutions from design through production go-live.
• Strong knowledge of order fulfilment, orchestration, inventory, returns, refunds, exchanges, and shipment management.
• Experience in multi-channel and eCommerce order management environments.

• Logistics and Shipping Platforms
• B2B and B2C Commerce Platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce OMS Certifications preferred.
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience handling offshore/onshore delivery teams.
• Retail, eCommerce, or Digital Commerce domain experience preferred.
