Power BI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building dashboards, working with large datasets, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, Excel, cloud platforms).
• Write complex DAX expressions for calculations, KPIs, and aggregations.
• Perform data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
• Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated refresh schedules.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data/reporting issues.
• Create documentation for dashboards, reports, and data models.

Requirements:

• Experience: 6-8 Years.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering / Analytics.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft Power BI / Azure) are a plus.
• Key Competencies: Dashboarding and Visualization, Data Modeling, Business Intelligence and Reporting, Stakeholder Collaboration, Data Quality, and Governance.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language).
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience with data modeling concepts (Fact/Dimension tables).
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
• Experience with data sources like SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure (ADF, Synapse, Databricks) or other cloud platforms.
• Understanding of performance tuning and optimization.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Python/SQL scripting.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF) / Databricks.
• Knowledge of data lake/big data platforms.
• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for BI solutions.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology.
