Head of Finance and Operations

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Head of Finance & Operations to join a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of cloud software and physical product-based commerce solutions.

This is not a narrow accounting role. It is a high-impact, hands-on finance position for someone who thrives in environments where finance is deeply connected to how the business actually runs.

You will own core financial operations while also helping shape how the company scales operationally. This includes improving systems, tightening processes, and partnering across the business to ensure we are making clear, data-driven decisions across both software and inventory-driven workflows.

The right person will be equally comfortable:

• Building structure where it doesn’t exist yet
• Working directly in the details of financial models and operational processes
• Partnering cross-functionally to improve how the business runs day to day

This role sits close to the center of the business and requires someone who can balance precision, speed, and practical decision-making in a high-growth environment.

You will also support commercial contract review and negotiation workflows, working alongside external counsel to ensure agreements are structured appropriately, commercially sound, and operationally executable.

As the Head of Finance & Operations you excel at the below core competencies:

• Financial & Operational Acumen: The ability to seamlessly connect financial strategy with day-to-day operations - from SaaS metrics and forecasting to supply chain and vendor management - ensuring smart, scalable decisions across the business.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution: Strong collaboration and communication skills to align stakeholders across Finance, Product, Sales, Legal, and Operations. This person should drive clarity, build systems, and execute efficiently in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Contract & Risk Management: Skilled at reviewing, negotiating, and operationalizing contracts - understanding legal and business implications, managing risk, and ensuring favorable terms while working closely with external counsel when needed.
