The Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to manage complex and business-critical projects within enterprise IT infrastructure environments.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initiation, requirements definition, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation through implementation, production deployment, transition to operations, and formal project closure.

This role requires a strong combination of project management capabilities and a solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, technical teams, solution architects, operations teams, vendors, subcontractors, and senior management.

The position provides an opportunity to lead significant infrastructure initiatives and play a key role in delivering reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex IT infrastructure projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, key milestones, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Take responsibility for delivering projects on time, within the approved budget, scope, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams across infrastructure, networking, systems, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Storage, Backup, and Operations.
  • Manage project budgets and monitor actual costs against approved financial plans.
  • Manage project resources and coordinate internal and external teams.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and constraints.
  • Develop risk mitigation and issue resolution plans for challenges that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, resource, and technical dependencies.
  • Manage customer expectations and maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare structured project reports.
  • Present project status, progress, risks, budget, and key decisions to customers and senior management.
  • Coordinate activities with technology vendors, system integrators, and subcontractors.
  • Manage IT infrastructure implementation, migration, modernization, and transformation activities.
  • Coordinate production changes and infrastructure migrations while minimizing impact on customer business operations.
  • Plan and manage the transition of new infrastructure solutions into production and operational support.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness of support and operations teams.
  • Ensure projects comply with internal standards, procedures, governance, and management requirements.
  • Conduct final project reviews, lessons learned, and formal project closure.

Deep hands-on engineering expertise across all of these areas is not required. However, the Project Manager should understand key technical concepts and architectures, communicate effectively with technical specialists, understand dependencies between different infrastructure domains, and translate technical challenges into clear project actions and decisions.

Candidate Requirements

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing IT projects, including significant experience with IT infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex, medium to large-scale IT projects.
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple technical teams and infrastructure domains.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Experience working directly with customers and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external vendors, subcontractors, system integrators, and technology partners.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and business teams.
  • Experience preparing and presenting project reports to customers and senior management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of project outcomes and drive projects forward in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Good command of English.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes is an advantage.

Who You Are

  • PMP certification .
  • 3 years of experience managing IT projects, with significant IT infrastructure experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex, medium-to-large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, cloud, backup, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and vendors.
  • Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • ITIL/ITSM knowledge - an advantage.
