Play your part in our team succeeding

The Regional Commercial Development team sits under China Market Group leadership, tasked with linking global commercial guidance to on-the-ground local execution across pricing, channel rules and revenue governance. You’ll own the core revenue management transformation agenda for China, building consistent pricing and trade investment guardrails that align cross-functional colleagues around shared, sustainable growth targets. Every framework you build lets sales, finance and legal teams operate with clear, unified playbooks as consumer markets evolve quickly.

Core Responsibilities

As a member of the Regional Commercial Development Team, this role leads China MG’s Revenue Management agenda, translating global RM&P principles and local business needs into a compliant, executable commercial framework. The role requires strong commercial judgement to identify opportunities, assess business trade-offs and influence stakeholders to deliver sustainable growth. Specifically:

  • Lead trade-term optimization and deployment, including term structure review, conditionality governance and customer-level implementation guardrails.
  • Own Multi-Channel Pricing deployment in China, including frontline enablement, customer communication support, fulfilment monitoring and ongoing refresh governance.
  • Govern CTT conditionality, including KPI thresholds, payout logic and proof of performance, and lead regular reviews.
  • Lead trade investment productivity and compliance, including caps management, approval discipline, follow-up on audit observations, Sales training reinforcement and performance tracking.
  • Build alignment across Sales, Finance, Legal and Global teams on key Revenue Management decisions, constructively challenge existing practices, resolve competing priorities and drive consistent implementation.
  • Represent China MG in global and regional RM&P forums, sharing market learnings and translating global direction into China execution.
  • Own customer segmentation and promotion guideline governance to provide a foundation for commercial planning and execution.
  • Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the team leader.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in leading consumer goods, retail or lifestyle companies.
  • Strong experience in revenue management, trade investment, commercial planning, key account management or sales operations, with ownership of commercial outcomes. Candidates with a consulting background should demonstrate experience driving implementation and business impact.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions across functions in a matrix organization, including navigating conflicting priorities and leading change without direct authority.
  • Strong experience collaborating with global teams and translating global frameworks into locally relevant solutions.
  • A proven track record of leading change and managing cross-functional projects from recommendation through implementation.
  • Strong commercial judgement and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations, articulate business trade-offs and gain stakeholder commitment.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to different audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Strong ownership, initiative and drive, with openness to new ideas and challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
