DevSecOps Engineer

Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is expanding its cloud-native and AI-enabled platforms and is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable, and automated engineering pipelines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that security is embedded by design while enabling continuous delivery for highly distributed, data-intensive systems. You will collaborate closely with Backend, Frontend, and AI/ML engineering teams in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls and automation
• Embed DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring security by design
• Design and secure cloud-native, containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles
• Implement and operate secure secrets management, access controls, and identity models
• Build and maintain observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability
• Manage software release pipelines, artifact storage, promotion, and deployment workflows
• Partner with engineering teams to improve DevOps maturity, security awareness, and operational excellence

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Bitbucket
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of secure SDLC principles, DevSecOps methodologies, and cloud-native architectures
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash
• Experience working in distributed, cross-functional, and international engineering teams
• Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)
