Job Title: Development Manager

Location: Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Resumption: As soon as possible
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with one day off during the week. Sunday availability is required when events are scheduled.

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and result-oriented Development Manager to oversee business operations, drive business growth, attract new clients, increase event bookings, and improve overall revenue.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, operational management, and business development skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations and ensure smooth running of the facility.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and increase bookings.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Lead, coordinate, and supervise staff to ensure effective performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
• Monitor sales performance, bookings, revenue, and business growth.
• Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate event-related activities and ensure operational readiness.
• Develop strategies to improve the business’s visibility and market position.
• Prepare regular reports on business performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, operations management, hospitality, event management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and generate revenue.
• Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and develop practical business strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and achieve set targets.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• N150,000 - N300,000 Monthly + performance-based commission.
• Shared accommodation.
