Azure DevOps Engineer

Must have

• hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (building and maintaining cloud services)
• experience working as a DevOps Engineer across infrastructure and application improvements
• strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, including tools, techniques, and automation
• experience in monitoring and managing cloud platforms supporting application deployments
• ability to collaborate with multiple support and engineering teams contributing to a shared service
• experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for cloud environments
• experience building and implementing compliance / governance frameworks for cloud-based compute resources
• ability to identify infrastructure improvement areas and drive changes into production
• experience with root cause analysis, incident handling, and performance troubleshooting
• understanding of monitoring, reliability, and incident response processes
• experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• familiarity with SLA / SLI / SLO concepts and operational excellence
• experience with patching activities or centrally managed infrastructure updates

Nice to have

• cloud certifications, e.g. AZ-104
• experience with multi-tier application architecture
• experience in application development, deployment, and support
• background in cloud-native environments

Scope of responsibilities

• supporting and improving Azure infrastructure in terms of reliability, scalability, and performance
• ensuring the platform is ready for application deployments
• collaborating with application owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders
• identifying improvement areas and delivering enhancements into production
• performing incident analysis and proposing improvements in monitoring and response
• implementing infrastructure and automation changes
