Data & ML Architect

Project Overview

Join a greenfield initiative focused on building a modern, cloud-native digital banking platform. The solution will be scalable, API-first and event-driven, with real-time data processing and AI/ML capabilities. The platform will leverage Microsoft Azure and modern data technologies to support innovation, automation and long-term business growth.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Analytics, AI or Machine Learning.
• Strong track record of designing enterprise-scale data and ML solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake Storage, Azure ML, AKS and Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of MLOps, ML lifecycle management, model deployment, monitoring, governance and CI/CD.
• Experience with data pipelines, feature engineering, model training and productionisation.
• Good understanding of data governance, security, compliance and metadata management.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with practical experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver end-to-end Azure data and ML architectures.
• Lead the design of modern data platforms covering data lakes, warehouses, streaming and analytics.
• Build scalable ML workflows from data ingestion and training through deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Establish MLOps, CI/CD and governance standards across data and AI environments.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, security, compliance and operational reliability.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable solutions.
• Provide architectural direction and technical leadership to engineering teams.
• Assess new technologies and contribute to the strategic roadmap for Data and AI.
