Join a globally distributed engineering team responsible for building and enhancing strategic trading and risk management platforms supporting high-volume financial markets. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services in Java
Build event-driven and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
Develop REST APIs supporting real-time business workflows
Contribute to cloud-native applications running on GCP
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following TDD practices
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineering teams across multiple locations
Support platform modernization, scalability, and performance improvements
Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, and production support
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and technical issues
Help drive engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the team
Strong commercial experience with Core Java development
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
Experience designing and developing REST APIs
Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development and automated testing
Experience working with MongoDB
Experience developing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Understanding of distributed systems, software design patterns, and scalable architectures
Ability to solve complex technical problems
Experience working in Agile, globally distributed teams
