Quality Engineer (Test Automation), Veeva Vault Platform

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer with a strong background in test automation to join our global Quality & Validation team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating end-to-end functional and regression testing for enterprise SaaS platforms (Veeva Vault) and MuleSoft-based integrations.

Your main mission will be to significantly reduce manual test cycle times while authoring formal, audit-ready testing artifacts compliant with GxP / CSV standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation & Execution: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework as your primary tool, supplemented by a secondary automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Tosca). Cover UI, API, and data-validation scenarios across platform configurations and integrations.
• Release & Regression Testing: Execute automated regression suites ahead of major platform releases (3x/year) and integration changes; report, triage, and manage defect resolution.
• Formal GxP Documentation: Author, review, and maintain audit-ready test documentation according to GxP standards (Test Plans, Test Scripts/Cases, Test Summary Reports, and Traceability Matrices).
• Test Management (Jira + XRAY): Manage end-to-end testing lifecycles, maintaining full traceability from requirements to test cases, execution results, and defects.
• Agile Collaboration: Partner with Configuration Specialists and Integration Engineers during sprint planning to build testable, automation-friendly acceptance criteria into user stories.
• Defect Triage & Root Cause Analysis: Triage automation failures to distinguish between script/environment issues and true system defects.
• Governance & Metrics: Provide test cycle time, defect density, and coverage metrics to Quality CoE leads for governance reporting.

Required Experience & Skills

Technical & Domain Must-Haves:

• Total QA Experience: 4-7 years in QA/Testing, with at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Robot Framework.
• Secondary Tooling: Working proficiency in at least one additional automation tool (Selenium WebDriver, Tosca, or equivalent).
• Test Management: Practical experience using Jira + XRAY for test case execution, traceability, and defect logging.
• Regulated Environments (GxP): Proven track record of authoring formal testing artifacts (Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, Traceability Matrices) in a GxP-validated / regulated environment.
• API & Integration Testing: Basic to intermediate experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) for integration validation alongside UI automation.
• Agile & Delivery: Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams with sprint-level test execution.
• Language Skills: Excellent written English skills (required for creating audit-facing documentation).
