About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on designing scalable cloud data architectures using Azure components, Databricks, and Python. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients, so strong communication skills and flexibility are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure services.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of data solutions.
- Work with Terraform and automation tools to manage infrastructure as code.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks).
- Strong proficiency in Databricks for data engineering tasks.
- Advanced skills in Python for data processing and automation.
- Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data catalog solutions and automation of cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs).
- Background in MLOps or IoT platforms is a plus.
