Senior Software Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting solutions to novel problems, performing hands-on software development, and mentoring junior engineers. If you are passionate about writing clean, efficient code, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have a strong background in the Java ecosystem and modern architectural patterns, we want you on our team!

What You Will Do

• Design & Develop: Perform hands-on software design and development to deliver top-quality, feature-rich software on time and on budget.
• Architecture & Problem Solving: Architect scalable solutions to novel problems and provide technical solutions to complex challenges.
• Code Quality: Write unit tests, perform peer design and code reviews, and produce clear technical documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with requirements engineers to accurately estimate projects and develop high-quality products alongside both onsite and remote teams.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical guide, mentoring and helping grow junior members of the engineering team.
• Process Improvement: Strive for continuous improvement by designing and developing tooling that drives workflow efficiency.
• Delivery: Champion high quality and the timely completion of all projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Core Stack: Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Database & Tools: Strong knowledge of relational databases (especially PostgreSQL) and software debugging tools.
• Architecture & Patterns: Good understanding of Object-Oriented and Concurrent Programming. Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, and Kafka.
• DevOps & Version Control: Solid experience with version control systems (GIT preferred) and experience in Docker/Kubernetes development.
• Best Practices: Familiarity with design patterns, code quality standards, and unit testing will be given priority consideration.
