As a Senior Backend Developer at LiveRamp, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling robust backend systems that power our core products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs and maintain high technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs using Java (Spring & Spring Boot) and Node.js v18.
Design and implement integrations with AWS services, specifically DynamoDB, Glue, and Cognito.
Collaborate effectively with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in Kubernetes environments.
Ensure backend systems are reliable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
Team and Culture:
You will join the Console Backend team, working closely with talented engineers, QA specialists, and product managers to deliver impactful backend solutions. Our collaborative environment encourages sharing knowledge and continuous learning.
About You:
5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
Deep expertise in Java (Spring & Spring Boot) and Node.js v18.
Practical experience with AWS DynamoDB, Glue, and Cognito.
Proficiency deploying and orchestrating applications with Kubernetes.
Experience working within Agile development teams (preferred but not required).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for backend systems.
