LiveRamp, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend systems that power our data connectivity solutions for clients worldwide. You will work with a collaborative team of engineers to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications and services. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver seamless and innovative data infrastructure products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that support our platform’s features and scalability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

• Optimize existing code and systems for performance, reliability, and security

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Help define and implement best practices in backend development

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Proven experience developing backend systems using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js)

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful API design

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related infrastructure components

• Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)

• Solid understanding of application security, scalability, and performance tuning

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
