Fabric Architect - Insurance

Technical Skills:

- Data Solution architect with expertise on MS Fabric platform & Snowflake

- Experience with delivering Business Intelligence & analytics solutions

- Deep Insurance P&C domain knowledge

- Primary Technologies: MS Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Function App, Azure Logic App, APIM, Entra ID

- Database Technologies: Azure SQL MI, MS SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake

- Strong experience with Duck Creek Clarity, Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims

- Experience in conducting Design & Code Reviews

- Build and manage Lakehouse architecture and data models in One Lake

- Optimize data processing using PySpark and distributed computing techniques

- Experience with MS Fabric capacity estimation, Tenants, security, Data Governance, Data Cataloging, Data Mapping, etc.

- Understanding of Snowflake Platform, Snowflake COCO

- Experience of working with XML & JSON files

- Familiar with Agile software development methodologies, preferably Azure DevOps (ADO)

Roles & Responsibility:

- Define Azure & Fabric platform architecture and roadmap

- Own platform standards, reference architectures, and guardrails

- Work directly with CXOs delegates to deliver transformational initiatives

- Define enterprise data architecture for integrating Duck Creek platforms within Azure ecosystems

- Understand business needs and design Data Analytics platforms

- Delivery of complex consulting projects in Data & Analytics practices

- Good understanding of data, technology and organizational challenges facing Financial, Risk and Operations

- Facilitate the discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from functional experts and the user community

- Lead/Assist with architectural strategic thinking, information solutions and road maps to drive architectural recommendations

- Understand potential impacts of proposed solutions on other systems, processes or projects. Articulate and document data designs, considering tradeoffs, cost and benefits

- Drive technical vision and architecture designs to consensus across multiple teams

- Experience in data migration from On-Prem databases to Cloud

- Participate in effort estimation, project task planning and work allocation

- Mentor team leads on design best practices and usage of GenAI tools

- Support Duck Creek Clarity Pre-Sales activities
