Job Description

  • Design develop and maintain high-quality and scalable backend services using Java.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including cloud DevOps QA and product owners to deliver integrated cloud native solutions.
  • Optimize application performance scalability and security following best practices in Java and cloud native environments.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in Java frameworks and cloud native architectures to continuously improve solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Work within Agile development teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery CICD pipeline activities and deployments

    Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead backend development efforts utilizing Java within the JAVA CLOUD NATIVE skill cluster.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to improve their technical skills and code quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cloud infrastructure DevOps and QA teams to integrate APIs and cloud services.
  • Conduct design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable cloud native applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and nonproduction environments to maintain smooth application performance.
  • Manage production incidents by performing root cause analysis and implementing effective fixes
  • Coordinate with product management and QA teams to ensure highquality software releases.
  • Drive the adoption of best coding standards security practices and development methodologies within the team.
  • Assist in sprint planning estimation activities and continuous process improvements.
