You can take part in the development and maintenance of one of our products, weight & balance solution, which is helping airlines to reduce fuel costs and optimizing payload while simultaneously boosting load controllers’ productivity and optimizing loading/unloading process.
Your responsibilities will include
- Keeping contact and cooperating with teams located in Hungary and in Germany, ensure smooth and intense communication with colleagues and partners
- Writing software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval
- Designing, implementing and testing new functionalities
- Developing application components using Java EE technologies and design principles
- Analysis of customer problems and requests
- Maintaining the current system
We are looking for You, if You have
- Practical experience in design and development of Java applications (at least 1-2 years)
- Experience in one or more Java frameworks (Hibernate, etc.)
- JEE components and API or Spring knowledge (esp. IoC container, Beans)
- Experiences with application servers (e.g. JBoss EAP/AS/Wildfly)
- Knowledge of Maven, Git, GitHub
- Familiarity with JIRA or any other defect tracking system
- Good knowledge of English both spoken and written
It can be an advantage if You have
- Practical experience in design and development of Java EE applications
- Interest or even professional experience in the DevOps field
- Ansible, YAML, Docker
- Developing/maintaining experience with CI/CD pipelines and environment setup
- Experience in scripting and automation skills (like ansible, bash)
- Familiarity with MS Azure or any other cloud platform
- Experience in Jenkins and Linux
- Interest in other programming languages like Scala or JavaScript
