We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management team and lead cross-functional projects from initial concept through execution across multiple brands in our portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, while partnering closely with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and other external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience within the beauty industry, particularly across product development, launches, or supply chain, is highly preferred.

This role is based in NYC and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project timelines and oversee the successful execution of projects, including new product launches, in-store merchandising, displays, sampling programs, and changes to existing products such as resourcing initiatives, cost-saving projects, and large-scale artwork updates.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain, Operations, and other internal teams, as well as external suppliers and manufacturers, to establish timelines, identify dependencies, and proactively resolve obstacles.
  • Own project timelines and ensure key milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies are clearly communicated and actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead weekly cross-functional project status meetings, including developing agendas, tracking action items, distributing recaps, and ensuring teams remain aligned on priorities and deadlines.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders, ensuring changes to project scope, timing, and priorities are effectively communicated.
  • Hold cross-functional teams and external partners accountable for meeting project milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify potential risks and roadblocks early and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Provide regular project updates, including status, risks, timelines, and financial summaries, to leadership as needed.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes, working with cross-functional partners to support cost analyses and project budgets.
  • Partner with fillers and internal R&D teams on formula development, ensuring projects remain aligned with established budgets, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Establish strong relationships with fillers and suppliers early in the project lifecycle to ensure alignment on timelines, packaging requirements, quality expectations, BOMs, and fill and assembly instructions.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and ways of working across the broader Project Management team.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support team and business priorities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4-5 years of project management experience, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, consumer products, or related industry.
  • Experience in at least one of the following categories required: haircare, skincare, color cosmetics, fragrance, or home care.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects from concept through launch or execution.
  • Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, fillers, or other external partners preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project timelines, dependencies, budgets, and risk management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with Asana or other project management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of an organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solutions-oriented and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
  • Ability to work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week in NYC.
