Job Responsibilities:

Starting Pay: $28.84/hr + Shift Premium | B Shift | Benefits Available Day One

Location: Liberty, MO

Magna is seeking a Production Team Leader to support daily manufacturing operations by directing workflow within a production area, training operators, supporting quality initiatives, and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role that serves as a key resource for operators and production support teams.

What You'll Do

• Train and support operators on machine operation, quality inspections, and standardized work procedures
• Assist with daily production activities to help maintain safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate support for machine or tooling concerns
• Monitor product quality and report non-conforming parts to leadership and quality teams
• Update communication boards and escalate operational issues as needed
• Complete maintenance work orders and support equipment uptime efforts
• Conduct daily 5S, safety, and workstation audits
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, concerns, and production updates
• Respond to Andon calls and coordinate the appropriate support groups
• Fill in for operators when needed and support production flow throughout the shift
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve processes, products, and workplace efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing, production, team lead, or leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to make decisions, set direction, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and support team members
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
• Ability to collect information, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
