Accountant

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day finance and accounting operations. You'll work closely with the founders and management team and help maintain accurate financial records as we continue to scale our business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
• Handle GST, TDS, invoices and statutory compliance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank, payment gateway and other transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS.
• Track expenses, revenue and cash flow.
• Manage vendor payments and documentation.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors and external finance partners.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist the founders with financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of Tally / Excel / Google Sheets.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and Indian accounting practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• CA Inter / B. Com / M. Com or relevant qualification preferred.

Good to Have:

• Startup experience.
• Experience with SaaS / EdTech/consumer apps.
• Experience handling payment gateways and subscription revenue.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and MIS.
