Vice President, Specialist Sales, Consumer SolutionsThe Customer Solution Center (CSC) team enables Mastercard to develop stronger solutions and value propositions for customers across East Southeast Asia. Serving as the central hub for Mastercard's capabilities, CSC drives growth, differentiation, and revenue by creating and delivering compelling, data-driven, and scalable solutions that address evolving customer and consumer needs.Within CSC, the Consumer Solutions team is responsible for accelerating consumer payments growth through innovative consumer propositions, benefits platforms, and engagement capabilities. The team works closely with issuers, digital banks, fintechs, to drive consumer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and portfolio profitability while strengthening Mastercard's competitive position across East Southeast Asia.
The Vice President, Specialist Sales, Consumer Solutions for East Southeast Asia is responsible for defining and executing the division's consumer growth strategy, and adoption of Mastercard's consumer solutions portfolio, and identifying new business opportunities that deliver incremental revenue, spend, and market share growth. The role serves as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, leveraging deep market expertise and consumer insights to shape solution strategies and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Role
- Lead Mastercard's Consumer Solutions strategy across East Southeast Asia.
- Drive adoption and growth of Mastercard's consumer products, benefits platforms, and engagement solutions through issuers, digital banks, fintechs, and ecosystem partners.
- Identify market opportunities and develop growth strategies that accelerate consumer acquisition, activation, spend, retention, and portfolio profitability.
- Partner with Account Management, Business Development, and Product teams to develop customer-specific growth plans and differentiated value propositions.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert for Consumer Solutions, leading strategic customer engagements, executive discussions, and solution workshops.
- Monitor consumer trends, competitive developments, and emerging industry opportunities to shape commercialization priorities and business growth plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Services, Marketing, Advisors, Data & Services, Digital Partnerships, Legal, and regional teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Leverage data, analytics, and market insights to identify growth opportunities and measure business impact.
- Influence product innovation and roadmap priorities by acting as the voice of customers and markets across East Southeast Asia.
- Build and scale best practices and thought leadership that strengthen Mastercard's market differentiation.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.
All About You
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in consumer banking, cards, payments, digital commerce, fintech, or related industries.
- Proven success developing and executing commercial growth strategies within consumer payments and financial services.
- Deep understanding of consumer payments, credit, debit, prepaid, cardholder engagement, and portfolio growth drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior customer executives and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record identifying and scaling new business opportunities across multiple markets.
- Experience developing and executing complex go-to-market strategies and commercialization plans.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive business decisions.
- Proven ability to lead and develop diverse, high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working across multiple East Southeast Asia markets is highly preferred.
- Collaborative leader with a customer-centric mindset and ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
