The role:
As a Metallurgist II, you will help drive our goals by:
- Lead materials development and research projects from concept through delivery.
- Provide physical metallurgy expertiseto support R&D and manufacturing operations.
- Plan, execute and analyzeexperiments and production trials.
- Support capital projects through process development and equipment evaluations.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliersand cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
- Promote safe working practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Scienceor a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of physical metallurgy and metal processing methods.
- Industrial experience within metallurgy, materials developmentor manufacturing.
- Experience leading technical projects and managing priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and build effective stakeholder relationships.
