Social Media Manager

Job Summary

Micdee Design Limited is seeking a creative, proactive and digitally savvy Social Media Handler to manage and grow the company's social media presence across various platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing online communities, maintaining brand consistency and implementing social media strategies that strengthen brand visibility, audience engagement and business growth.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of digital trends, content creation and social media management, preferably within the interior design, architecture, construction or lifestyle industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and implement social media content strategies aligned with the company's brand identity and business objectives.
• Create, curate and publish engaging content, including posts, reels, stories, videos and graphics.
• Develop and maintain a structured content calendar to ensure consistent online activity.
• Monitor social media trends, industry developments and competitor activities to identify content opportunities.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and manage online community interactions.
• Collaborate with the Design, Marketing and Project teams to source project updates, visuals and relevant content.
• Track and analyse social media performance using relevant analytics tools and prepare periodic reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve audience reach, engagement, brand awareness and lead generation.
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers and graphic designers to ensure quality content delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Media or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Demonstrable experience managing business or corporate social media accounts.
• Strong content creation, copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Good knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and other digital platforms.
• Familiarity with social media analytics, scheduling and management tools.
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills using tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail and a strong understanding of digital audience behaviour.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple content requirements.

Added Advantage: Experience managing social media accounts for interior design, architecture, construction, furniture or lifestyle brands.
