Universe Group Limited - We are a real estate company with a media offshoot, We handle sales of properties, land and estates, we run a property brokerage system, we also handle property shoot which includes editing and compiling both camera and drone shots.

Job Title: Video Editor

Job Summary

• The Video Editor will be responsible for producing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content for the company's marketing, advertising, promotional, corporate, and social media activities.
• The ideal candidate must have strong creative abilities, technical editing skills, and an excellent understanding of digital content trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into professional, engaging, and high-quality video content.
• Stay updated with current video editing techniques, social media trends, and creative styles.
• Create promotional videos, advertisements, corporate videos, and marketing campaigns.
• Create compelling visual storytelling that communicates the company's message effectively.
• Work with photographers, content creators, and marketing personnel during content production.
• Review edited videos and make necessary corrections based on management feedback.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading, and audio enhancement.
• Edit long-form videos for interviews, documentaries, events, and corporate presentations.
• Ensure videos are properly formatted and optimised for different social media platforms.
• Add appropriate transitions, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and motion graphics.
• Develop creative ideas for promotional campaigns and brand storytelling.
• Organise, manage, and maintain video footage, project files, and media assets.
• Ensure all video content meets the company's branding and quality standards.
• Produce engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned video projects.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop creative video concepts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 2–4 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong understanding of colour grading, sound design, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics is an advantage.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating previous editing projects.
• Ability to edit both short-form and long-form video content.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of social media video formats and specifications.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
