As a Fab Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.

Drives Front-End (FE) Cost Excellence and Max Out performance by leading cross-functional programs aligned to corporate business objectives, with accountability for defining program scope, governance, methodologies, and delivery of key performance targets such as IPP goals and productivity improvements. This role establishes structured program management practices, manages dependencies, risks, and milestones and leveraging AIand subject matter expertise to enable execution. The individual partners closely with stakeholders and leadership teams to drive alignment, continuous improvement, and outcome delivery, while ensuring clear and timely communication of program priorities, progress, risks, and achievements to senior leadership and key business partners.

Responsibilities

Drive Cost and/or Max Out goals

  • Understand short-term and long-term Cost, Max Out goals within Front End and ensure alignment to corporate business goals. Initiate and drive cross-functional programs to achieve corporate business goals
  • Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, deliverables, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Manage the definition, refinement, and implementation of core methodologies and tools for business process including reporting
  • Drive delivery of IPP Goals Performance

Deliver tactical support and program management

  • Establish structure and manage program dependencies, prioritize programs, track program milestone and deliverables
  • Enable program success through subject matter expertise
  • Deliver program proposals and regular progress reports
  • Identify potential roadblocks, develop and execute resolution plans
  • Facilitate regular meeting cadence with key business partners
  • Engage with key stakeholders and leadership teams to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Effectively and efficiency using AI Agents, Skills to develop tools for productivity improvement in Cost or MaxOut Program

Communication

  • Conduct regular communication update to Senior leadership, Sites and PROCT leadership team
  • Conduct program priorities, roadmap, wins, issues and any program related changes communication to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Experience / understanding of Micron FE manufacturing processes and business processes
  • Excellent analytical, fact-based decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally
  • Knowledge on data analytics and programming, AI Prompt/Skills/Agent is beneficial
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritize goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to multi-task and lead team to meet challenging deadlines and goals
  • Demonstrated ability to measure self and team for efficiency and effectiveness
