As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will work with enterprise customers to understand their business priorities and technical requirements, shaping architecture strategies and solutions across Microsoft Azure technologies. You will operate across workloads rather than focusing on a single solution area, bringing together architecture, technical depth, customer insight, and business understanding to help customers address complex transformation challenges.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with customer stakeholders and Microsoft teams throughout the solution lifecycle. From early architecture discussions and pre-sales engagements through proofs of concept, implementation, and adoption, you will help customers make informed technology decisions and realize value from their Microsoft investments.

Responsibilities
- Shape enterprise architecture solutions by gathering insights into customer business priorities and technical requirements, translating them into viable architecture strategies and solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, challenging assumptions when appropriate, and demonstrating the value of Microsoft solutions in addressing complex business and technology needs.
- Lead architecture and technical solution development across customer engagements, applying architectural principles and technical expertise to address requirements, identify dependencies, and resolve technical constraints and blockers.
- Guide customers across the solution lifecycle, supporting pre-sales, post-sales, implementation, and adoption activities while helping customers strengthen their technical capabilities and make informed architecture decisions.
- Lead and contribute to proofs of concept and pilots, working with customers, partners, and internal Microsoft teams to validate architecture choices, demonstrate solution feasibility, and support progression toward production solutions.
- Drive technical quality and manage risk by applying established architecture methodologies, governance, and quality practices across complex customer engagements.
- Represent the customer within Microsoft, sharing customer insights, technical challenges, adoption blockers, and feedback with internal teams while collaborating across Microsoft and partner organizations to deliver a connected customer experience.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND significant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, OR equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in enterprise architecture and/or cloud solution architecture, including translating complex business and technical requirements into architecture strategies and solutions.
- Professional fluency in English and either French or Dutch, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders in these languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience working in a customer-facing technical role, engaging with enterprise customers and senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience leading complex technical projects or architecture engagements across multiple technologies, workloads, or business areas.
- Experience supporting customers across pre-sales, solution design, proofs of concept, implementation, and post-sales or adoption activities.
- Relevant technical certification in cloud architecture or related technologies, such as Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Belgium is € 93,000.00 - € 181,200.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
