Within Microsoft Fabric, the Platform team builds and operates the unified foundation that brings together all Fabric workloads into a single, cohesive experience. The platform provides shared infrastructure, governance, security, and a unified data model that enables customers to manage their entire data estate in one place. This team is central to delivering Fabric as a complete, end-to-end intelligence platform.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable test strategies and automation that validate end-to-end scenarios across the Fabric Platform, with emphasis on cross-workload integration and real-world usage patterns.
- Partner closely with engineering, PM, and SRE teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle and ensure reliable, production-ready releases.
- Build and evolve intelligent test infrastructure that leverages telemetry, synthetic data, and production signals to detect issues before they impact customers.
- Identify systemic quality risks across services and drive improvements in reliability, performance, and resilience at cloud scale.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous quality by improving test coverage, reducing gaps, and enabling faster, more confident delivery.
- Investigate complex issues in distributed systems, using data-driven approaches to isolate root causes and validate fixes effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong full-stack software engineering background:
- You have at least 4+ years of proven hands-on software development experience, with strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
- Deep proficiency in at least one backend OO language, solid knowledge of SQL and stored procedures, and hands-on frontend experience with React or Angular(or a comparable modern framework)
- Proven ability to operateindependently and lead through ambiguity:
- Able to independently own and drive small-to-medium engineering projects end to end in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions, resolve ambiguity, and move forward independently.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and result driven mindset:
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, debug, and troubleshoot complex software systems, with an instinct for identifying failure modes, and edge cases while not compromising on quality
