Job Description:

TheQuality Technicianisresponsible forensuring the quality of all products producedmeetagreed upon standards and expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing,UPC scanners, paint thicknesstestersand other lab equipment
  • OperateCMM and VisionSystemInspection equipment
  • Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports(NCMR’s) as needed and complete appropriate ERP/Oracle transactions
  • Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits
  • Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material
  • Ability to navigate document repository web page tolocateinspection reports,blueprintsand other quality documents
  • Develop andmaintaineffective working relationships within team environment
  • Perform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion,arithmeticand units of measureconversion
  • Problem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions isrequired
  • Consciouslyabide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High School or GED diplomarequired
  • One (1) year ofpreviousquality technicianexperiencepreferred
  • Understanding of metrology fundamentalspreferred
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel)
  • Excellentoral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independent
