We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer (SDE-3) to join our engineering team. You will own and drive the design and delivery of complex, high-impact distributed systems while mentoring a talented team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Lead end-to-end design of microservices with a focus on availability and fault tolerance.
  • Drive technical roadmaps, code reviews, and engineering best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver customer-facing features at scale.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; champion a culture of engineering excellence.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of software engineering experience, majority in Java.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and system design.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in data structures and algorithms.

Good to have:

  • Experience with reactive programming (Project Reactor / WebFlux).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications.
  • Prior experience at high-growth product startups or large-scale platforms.
