Your Team

The Operate team provides Murex internal and external client technical support to restore normal operations with minimal impact on clients’ business.

Key Areas of Support:

• Incident Management

• Problem Management

• Preventive and Proactive Management

Clients:

• Internal: Murex teams facing platform issues

• External: Single point of contact for critical technical production incidents

• SaaS Clients: Cloud-based, fully managed MX.3 platform (not on premises clients)

Availability & Locations:

• 24/7 global support with no single point of failure

• Teams operate in shifts across Beirut, Mexico, Chile, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cyprus

Mission:

Restore normal service operations quickly, minimize business impact, and ensure client satisfaction.

Note: This is not a pure coding role. While scripting, SQL, and code analysis are valuable skills, the primary focus is on troubleshooting production issues, incident resolution, system diagnosis, and operational support. Ideal candidates enjoy problem solving, investigating technical issues, and working in a fast-paced support environment.

Occasionally, weekend shifts may be required (approximately once every 5-6 weeks, pre-planned). Candidates should be comfortable with this.

Your Role

With training and senior support, you will:

• Provide follow the sun support model (diverse shifts) on technical issues by analyzing, diagnosing, and providing solutions to 3 types of clients across all regions: Internal, SaaS, On premises.

• Leverage your knowledge and experience to handle client blocking production issues on the Mx3 platform through a call in a timely and accurate manner.

• Build a high technical expertise horizontally across various MX.3 components to be able to deliver a high quality of support

• Collaborate between various teams (Dev, Product, DevOps, Infrastructure, Client services….) on problem resolution

• Provide operability feedback to Product teams based on the incidents raised during BAU

• Embedment opportunities on production readiness and new development to make sure the product is production ready from an operability perspective

• Develop support processes, solutions and troubleshooting guides, Techtalks

Your Profile

Required:

• 1-4 years of experience in Relevant Technical scope

• Knowledgeable of Programming Skills (Preferably Java)

• Database Skills: SQL query building and performance analysis (Database administration skills for Sybase and Oracle are a plus)

• Operating Systems power user skills: Linux (Bash scripting is a plus)

• Eager to learn latest Murex technologies

• Passionate about problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues

• Ability to work under pressure in operations and support scopes

• Good English communication skills and presentation skills

• Good team player to interact with our team across different regions.

Success Milestones

First 6 Months

• Learn the fundamentals of the Murex platform, support processes, and operational workflows

• Shadow BAU support activities, incident handling, and client interactions.

• Become familiar with support tools, monitoring, knowledge base, and escalation processes.

6+ Months

• Independently analyze and resolve basic medium-complexity support issues with minimal guidance.

• Contribute knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and operational documentation.

• Participate in incident management and collaborate effectively with internal teams.

1+ Year

• Independently handle support cases across assigned domains and participate in critical incident resolution.

• Demonstrate ownership of incidents from investigation through resolution and follow-up.

• Contribute to operational readiness initiatives, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.

• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities for new team members when required.
