Title: Corporate Paralegal
Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)
Position Summary
As the Corporate Paralegal, you will support the Company’s corporate governance and compliance functions as part of a collaborative legal, risk, and compliance team. In this role, you will help the Company maintain compliance with global regulatory obligations, improve corporate and compliance processes, and assist with additional legal and operational matters as assigned.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Researching international, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Developing, implementing and monitoring compliance programs, policies and procedures
- Coordinating with a variety of departments to ensure corporate documents and operational procedures align with legal standards
- Assisting with legal entity management activities, including maintaining records, tracking local reporting obligations, and organizing and retaining entity data.
- Providing operational and administrative support for playbooks, templates, and process documents that enable scalable corporate and compliance practices
- Working with other members of the legal, risk and compliance team on special projects and initiatives
- Leveraging technology and automation to streamline corporate and compliance processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong preference for 5+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal (either at a major law firm or in-house)
- Notary Public appointment, or is willingness to obtain this credential
- Excels at prioritization and working independently to drive execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Possesses strong professional judgment and organizational skills
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to think creatively, exercise sound judgment, and solve complex problems.
- Maintains confidentiality and possesses a commitment to integrity and business ethics
