Join our Nordic Demand Planning team and make an impact through great forecasting!

Are you an experienced Demand Planner who enjoys getting into the detail behind a forecast? Do you combine strong analytical skills with hands-on forecasting experience and the ability to turn data, commercial activities and market dynamics into realistic demand plans?

We are looking for a Demand Planner who can step into forecast ownership from day one and bring analytical rigor, curiosity and sound judgement to a fast-moving and highly promotional market.

Working at Nestlé

Nestlé is the world's largest food and beverage company, with a purpose of unlocking the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come. At Nestlé Nordics, we believe our people make the difference. We foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where you can grow, learn and contribute from day one.

About the Role

As our new Demand Planner, you will join the Nordic Demand Planning team and own the demand plan for selected categories within the Danish market.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning, you will translate commercial plans, promotional activities, market insights and customer behavior into accurate and actionable forecasts.

This is a hands-on planning role in a dynamic market where demand can change quickly. You will work at SKU and category level, continuously analyzing forecast performance, identifying patterns and deviations, and adjusting the demand plan as new information becomes available.

You will be expected to understand the assumptions behind your forecast, spot inconsistencies and build confidence in the numbers through strong analysis and attention to detail.

The team consists of eight Demand Planners across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The position is based at our Nordic Headquarters in Ørestad, Copenhagen, and reports to the Nordic Demand & Supply Planning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the demand plan and forecast performance for assigned categories, including forecasting at SKU and category level.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, trends and deviations, translating insights into actions.
  • Incorporate promotional activities, commercial plans, customer behavior and market dynamics into realistic forecasts.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand and validate assumptions, risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning to ensure demand plans are robust and actionable.
  • Prepare for and contribute to demand reviews and the monthly S&OP/IBP process.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Demand Planner, Demand Forecaster or S&OP Planner, with responsibility for your own forecasts.
  • Bring strong analytical skills and experience working with detailed data, forecast accuracy and bias to identify patterns, deviations and opportunities.
  • Have worked in a dynamic and volatile environment, ideally FMCG, retail or another business characterized by frequent promotions and changing demand patterns.
  • Understand how commercial activities and customer behavior influence demand and know how to translate these into forecasts.
  • Have experience with demand planning systems, preferably including SAP.
  • Communicate confidently in English. Knowledge of Danish, Swedish or Norwegian and/or experience with demand planning in the Danish market is considered a strong advantage.

Make an Impact at Nestlé Nordics

Joining Nestlé means becoming part of a collaborative Nordic Demand Planning team where high-quality forecasting and sound decision-making are at the heart of what we do.

Your demand plans will directly influence business decisions, service levels and supply chain performance, making this a role where the quality of your work has a visible impact.

If you are an experienced planner who knows your forecast, enjoys getting into the details and takes pride in delivering numbers the business can trust, we would love to hear from you.

Application Process and Contact

We look forward to receiving your application no later than 1 November 2026. We will be reviewing applications continuously and inviting suitable candidates for interviews as we go, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Please note that the position may be filled before the application deadline. To keep the application process simple, we do not ask for a cover letter.
