Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our HR Technology team and support the ongoing evolution of our SAP SuccessFactors platform. This individual will work closely with multiple teams in HR. This role will also partner with other teams in IT, and work directly with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve the employee experience and support key business processes across the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings strong functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, a solid understanding of HR processes, excellent communication skills and a proven ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. This role will support core HR, talent management, recruiting, onboarding, reporting, and operational initiatives while acting as a trusted partner to both business and technical teams. Thus, the ability to build relationships and stakeholder management are essential.

Job Requirements

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and business leaders to understand business priorities and operational challenges.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and process reviews.
• Configure and unit test your own solutions
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Evaluate enhancement requests and help prioritize initiatives based on business value and impact.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the internal user and employee experiences.
• You create frameworks and processes that help the HR team deliver results. You understand that different stakeholders each bring a unique and valuable perspective to conversations. You know how to practice active listening and communicate in a way that facilitates true understanding from your stakeholders and partners. You understand the needs, concerns, and challenges typical of HR organizations. You are comfortable leading in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
• 5+ years project management experience - intake and demand management, planning, prioritization, communications, stakeholder management
• Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
• Hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following SAP SuccessFactors modules:
  • Employee Central (EC)
  • Performance Management
  • Goal Management
  • Calibration
  • Continuous Performance Management (CPM)
  • Recruiting Management (RCM)
  • Recruiting Marketing
  • Onboarding 2.0
  • People Analytics / Reporting
• Experience configuring, supporting testing, release management, change management, and production support activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with global HR teams and cross-functional business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP SuccessFactors certification(s).
• Experience supporting large-scale HR systems in a global enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of HR technology integrations, HR data governance, and data management practices.
• Experience working in Agile or product-based delivery environments.
• Understanding of SuccessFactors security concepts, including Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
• Experience supporting HR transformation, cloud migration, or HR technology modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with workforce analytics, reporting solutions, and HR metrics.
