Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and integrations across the platform.
  • Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code with strong attention to performance and reliability.
  • Work across multiple databases and messaging systems to support real-time risk processing.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise backend systems for scale and stability.
  • Collaborate with product, data science, and senior engineers to ship features end-to-end.
  • Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Java or Python, with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring or similar frameworks, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Comfort with debugging, profiling, and optimising production systems.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems, caching layers, or cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and willingness to take ownership of problems.
