Sr. Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Be a technical expert on Selector's operational analytics solution for networks, applications, and security workflows.
• Take a hands-on role in the integration of the product to meet customer requirements.
• Deploy Selector's solution at customers, including understanding their data, workflow, and analytics requirements.
• Ensure that customers are adequately enabled for use, understanding, and self-service extensions of the selector's capabilities.
• Collaborate with the sales team and partners for pre-sales activities.
• Own design, development, and execution plans for POC and lead to completion of deployment.
• Improve the product features and quality through enhancement proposals and customer reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experienced in coding with Python.
• Engineering background or 8+ years of relevant hands-on coding experience.
• Experienced with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation Templates, and YAML.
• Experienced with designing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data using Jupyter Notebook.
• Strong communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with networks (e. g., data center, WAN, SD-WAN, WiFi, DNS/DHCP, and load balancing).
• Familiarity with network analytics.
