DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 2+ years of experience who thrives in fast-paced startup environments. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows to ensure reliability, performance, and security of our product. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys automation, takes ownership of uptime and stability, and is proactive in preventing issues before they impact customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of applications
• Monitor system performance and proactively address bottlenecks
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or similar
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting system
• Work closely with engineering teams to streamline release processes
• Improve security posture across infrastructure and deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident resolution

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on DevOps / infrastructure experience in a product-based startup.
• Strong experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. ).
• Knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices.

Must-Have: Vibe Coding in Systems and Infrastructure:

• Ability to quickly debug and fix production issues using system intuition.
• Comfortable working without complete documentation, figuring things out fast.
• Can prototype infra setups, pipelines, and fixes rapidly.
• Strong instinct for identifying bottlenecks, failure patterns, and scaling issues.
• Thinks in terms of end-to-end system behavior, not just infra components.
