As the Cost Accountant, you will partner closely with operations, production, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure accurate costing, inventory control, and financial reporting. Your insights will directly influence operational decisions and business profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate product costings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Analyse manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Analyse margins, profitability, and cost-saving opportunities
- Support monthly management reporting and financial reviews
Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years' cost accountant experience
Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial
