A well-established construction and property group based in Johannesburg North is looking for a Group Accountant to join its finance team. This is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to move beyond transactional accounting and gain exposure across multiple entities within a growing group environment. As the Group Accountant, you will work closely with leadership, contribute to strategic decision-making, and play a key role in ensuring the financial health and performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
- Group consolidations across multiple entities
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Budgeting, and forecasting
- BCom Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA articles would be advantageous
- Minimum 2-4 years experience
- Prior experience working on build smart would be highly advantageous
