An established organisation is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Ordering Clerk to join its Sales and Administration team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on accuracy and enjoys working with customers. If you take pride in keeping orders, documentation and administration running efficiently, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities:

Accurately receive, capture and process customer purchase orders
Ensure all order details are correctly captured and maintained on the relevant system
Monitor stock availability and coordinate with internal departments
Keep customers updated on order progress and expected delivery timelines
Provide sales administration support with pricing, availability and order information
Conduct quality checks to ensure orders are accurate before dispatch
Prepare invoices, packing slips and other relevant documentation
Process customer returns and exchanges efficiently
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and customer queries
Compile accurate reports relating to orders, sales and inventory

Qualifications & Skills:

Matric
Previous experience in an ordering, sales administration or order processing role
Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills
Sage Evolution experience
