Position Description:
This is a client facing role where you will interact with the client's technical teams. We run a SaaS service for our clients based on CGI's proprietary payment cards platform.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Primary functions are to:
Ensure operational stability by active monitoring and preventive maintenance
Understand clients business needs and provide appropriate solution to fulfil their needs.
Handle incidents or service requests based on documented steps and routines.
Support team's continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Degree or Diploma in an IT Technology discipline
Working experience 2 3 years in application support role.
Experience in Unix or equivalent environment.
Have good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell or Perl scripting
SQL database knowledge
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fresh grads are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
Preferred Skills:
Payment and Loyalty Card business and systems experience.
Understanding of file transmission protocols
Knowledge of ISO8583 or IFSF standards
ITIL certified
Applying AI tools to help with daily routine tasks.
