Remote Delivery Engineering, IP NSP – Working Student

As a RDE Working Student, you will become a part of NOKIA Regional Delivery Engineering team. Our interns are involved in challenging projects across Europe, which enable them to use their technical skills, gain great experience in IP technology by learning our innovative solutions and services delivery skills.

Optimizing and actively supporting the processes of NSP Installations, upgrades, NSP platform design, IP network design, integration and transformation, validation and testing of IP based solutions across Europe by standardization and automation are the pillars and tasks of the Regional Delivery Engineering team.

Our team - Remote Delivery Engineering - is a part of Customer Delivery Engineering organization. Regional Delivery Engineering is a primary execution hub for engineering services, responsible for delivering design, integration, migration, and acceptance services consistently and cost-effectively across region. We provide those services by adopting and executing blueprints, playbooks, design templates, and automation tools.

• Support the RDE IP engineering team in preparing NSP method of procedures, acceptance test documentation, designs, using all available Ai & Automation tools, and design data preparation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation; design documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, Method Of Procedures (MoP)s, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for NSP IP network deployments and transformation projects.
• Support validation and verification activities using STA and other AI-enabled engineering tools.
• Assist the RDE team in the execution of customer NSP Installation, upgrade & commissions activities, including software loading, pre-upgrade and post-upgrade status checks, basic NSP health analysis, and preparation of implementation documentation.
• Support NSP integration activities for new customer networks and network transformation projects, including network element onboarding, configuration verification, testing support, and execution of integration procedures.
• Participate in dry-run activities by assisting with NSP environment preparation, procedure execution, result documentation, and identification of potential implementation issues prior to production deployment.
• Collect, organize, and maintain project-related technical data, reports, and engineering documentation in accordance with project and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to gain practical experience in IP networking technologies, NSP solutions, NSP platform design, integration, validation, and software upgrade processes.

Must- Have:

• Active student status (for at least one year)
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Technology: knowledge of network management system administration (RHEL, VMWare ESXI) technology and IP networking principles.
• Soft skills: team player, good communicative skills, eagerness to learn.

Nice-to-Have:

• Student status of telecommunications, physics, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and operating IP networks.
• Experience working with Nokia network equipment
• Basic knowledge of Python and automation frameworks (RobotFramework, Selenium)
