Portfolio & Delinquency Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to support portfolio monitoring, delinquency analytics, collections performance tracking, and management reporting across lending portfolios. The role requires strong ownership, hands-on analytical capabilities, and effective coordination with the Business, Collections, Finance, and Risk teams.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Portfolio and Delinquency Analytics:

• Monitor portfolio performance across delinquency buckets, including 1-30 30+, 60+, and 90+.
• Perform vintage, MOB, roll-rate, bucket-movement, and resolution analyses.
• Identify early-warning indicators and stressed portfolio segments.
• Track collection efficiency and delinquency trends.

Reporting and MIS:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS dashboards for management review.
• Develop and automate reporting frameworks using SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy through appropriate validation and reconciliation controls.
• Prepare portfolio insights and presentation-ready summaries for stakeholders.

Strategy and Analytical Support:

• Evaluate collection strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support collection prioritization and portfolio segmentation exercises.
• Build analytical frameworks for recovery optimization and portfolio monitoring.
• Analyze large datasets from internal systems, credit bureaus, and other external sources.

Stakeholder Management:

• Coordinate with the Collections, Business, Finance, and Risk teams.
• Support management discussions with analytical insights and performance commentary.
• Deliver ad hoc analytical requirements within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of portfolio analytics and collection processes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
• (Experience in senior analytics professional + lending/collections domain expertise + SQL/Python + delinquency/vintage/MOB/roll rate + MIS/Power BI. )

Preferred Background:

• Experience in banking, NBFCs, fintech, lending, or financial services.
• Understanding of delinquency metrics, vintage analysis, MOB analysis, roll rates, and collection MIS.
