Job Description :
Norwin Technologies is actively hiring for the Platform Engineer II - Cloud Ecosystems role. We are looking for a passionate Platform Engineer II with strong hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, Kubernetes, AWS, Linux Administration, Python/Go/Java, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Automation, and Monitoring & Observability.
The ideal candidate should enjoy building scalable cloud platforms, automating operations, and improving system reliability. The role also involves contributing to organizational growth through interviewing, onboarding, and other recruitment-related activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud platforms and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain platform engineering solutions that support application development and deployment.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.
- Work extensively with AWS cloud services to build and operate cloud-native infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployments, and operational processes.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent and repeatable infrastructure management.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
- Develop automation and tooling using Python, Go, or Java.
- Perform Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Identify and resolve reliability, scalability, performance, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform availability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, SRE, and other technology teams to deliver reliable platform solutions.
- Continuously improve automation, platform capabilities, operational processes, and system reliability.
- Contribute to organizational growth through technical interviews, onboarding, and other recruitment efforts.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles within the technology sector.
- Strong hands-on experience in Platform Engineering and/or SRE.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Programming or scripting experience in one or more of Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
- Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management.
- Strong experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
- Experience implementing Monitoring & Observability solutions.
- Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, performance, and availability.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.
