Mandate Skills:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• Strong hands-on experience in the Waterfall methodology

• Proven experience in Data project migrations/transitions
• Previous experience in the infrastructure industry
• Strong stakeholder and project delivery skills

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead services project and program management initiatives, with a strong focus on data migration and Dell storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and tools, as well as expertise in Dell's storage platforms, including PowerMax, PowerStore, PowerFlex, PowerScale, VxRail, ECS, ObjectScale, and APEX.

Key Responsibilities

• Articulate the types of data migrated by Dell Professional Services, including block, file, virtual to virtual, and application, and explain how these migration types impact project level of effort, phases, and tool selection
• Convey an understanding of how migration types correlate to Dell's primary storage systems and describe the company's data migration service offerings, including standard, custom, and consult services
• Demonstrate knowledge of data migration tools, including Carbonite Migrate, Secure Copy, and Datadobi DobiMigrate, and explain how they are utilized in different migration scenarios
• Understand the basics of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, UNIX, VMware, and Hyper-V, and how they relate to data migration
• Apply knowledge of data migration concepts, methodologies, and project workflow, including discovery, analysis, design, planning, execution, validation, and close-out
• Understand the data migration cutover decision-making process, success criteria, rollbacks, and escalation management
• Provide expertise on Dell's role in migrating critical customer production data to Dell platforms and explain how data migration services are staffed and adjusted due to scope, customer environment, and migration tools
• Utilize knowledge of project documentation, including runbooks, checklists, and EPS templates, and understand various data migration tools and their applications
• Provide an overview of PowerEdge Rack servers, including their capabilities and use cases, and explain the CloudIQ Cybersecurity feature scope with PowerEdge ProDeploy Plus services
• Demonstrate understanding of PowerMax and VMAX storage systems, including array models, configuration options, serviceability access, and use case scenarios
