Are you interested in helping a major greenfield project stay true to what it has committed to build? As Scope Controller, you will be embedded in the project controls team, working closely with the Project Manager and across engineering, procurement, work packages, contractors, cost and schedule controls.
Your purpose will be to safeguard a controlled scope baseline, enable disciplined change control and help prevent undocumented scope creep between design freeze and handover.

The role & your impact
As Scope Controller, you will take ownership of the project's scope baseline and Work Breakdown Structure from G3, maintaining clarity and traceability as the project progresses. You will play a central role in change control and interface management, helping the project understand and manage the cost and schedule implications of scope changes.
Your key responsibilities in this role
- Own the scope baseline and Work Breakdown Structure from G3 and keep them current.
- Run the Change Control Board process, logging, assessing, routing and tracking changes through to decision.
- Act as a gatekeeper at design freeze, ensuring undocumented scope does not enter execution.
- Lead scope interface management across disciplines, work packages and contractors.
- Maintain the trend and variation register, including cost and schedule impacts.
- Maintain scope document control, including revisions, approvals and traceability to contracts.
- Report scope status, open changes and exposure to scope creep to the Project Manager and steering group.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
- A degree in engineering, construction management or a similar relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in project controls or package management on large capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures, change control and contract scope interpretation.
- A precise and persistent approach, with the ability to maintain disciplined scope control at critical project gates.
Additional skills & interests we value
- Experience from greenfield projects or plant construction would be an advantage.

Job Location - Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)
Transport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.
Work: - 5 days from office
